Technology can be found in all areas of the curriculum.
Community School believes the computer is a tool for learning and has built an impressive computer network. New hardware, as well as current software, is made available to every student so that information can be gathered from the Internet or Discovery Center. Students use the computer in all subject areas – from creating Keynote presentations in social studies to writing original music compositions in GarageBand.
Community has wireless laptops and iPads for student use. Electronic white boards and projectors are also used in the Upper Division to create interactive computer-based lessons. Students begin learning keyboarding formally in Second Grade.
