Second Grade Teacher

Community School is seeking a full-time permanent second grade teacher to join our faculty for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood or elementary education
  • Have the knowledge of and the ability to teach all academic areas
  • Be able to differentiate for children’s needs and learning styles
  • Have knowledge of or experience in Responsive Classroom
  • Possess knowledge and experience in Math in Focus (Singapore Math) as well as a solid understanding of the science of reading

Junior Kindergarten Teacher

Community School is seeking a full-time permanent early childhood educator for Junior Kindergarten (ages 4 to 5) to join our faculty for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education, and a strong understanding of child development. Click here to view the complete job description.

Building Substitutes

Community School is seeking substitute teachers who enjoy working with early childhood or elementary aged students. A Bachelor's degree is required, and previous experience working with children is preferred. Responsibilities begin at 7:45 a.m. and last through dismissal at approximately 3:30 p.m. Most substitute teachers will work closely during the day with a regular classroom teacher, and are expected to promote a positive learning environment for students.
