We are currently hiring for the following positions:
 

Upper Division Science Teacher

Community School is seeking a full-time permanent Upper Division Science Teacher to join our faculty beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Position responsibilities include lead-teaching science for grades 3-4 while receiving co-teacher support, and supporting the lead teacher for grades 5-6, using an inquiry-based and experiential approach. 

Ideal candidates will demonstrate deep content knowledge in science, apply best instructional practices to engage students in meaningful learning, and effectively instruct students individually, in small groups, and in whole-class settings, using varied and responsive teaching methods.

Substitute Teachers

Community School is looking for substitute teachers who enjoy working with early childhood or elementary-aged students. A Bachelor's degree or three years of teaching experience is required. Responsibilities begin at 7:45 a.m. and last through dismissal at approximately 3:30 p.m. Substitute teachers typically team with regular classroom teachers and are expected to foster a positive learning environment.

After School Assistants

Community School is hiring After School Assistants to supervise children (Nursery through Grade 6) during our Extended Day program on weekday afternoons (3:00-6:00 p.m. Mondays-Wednesdays and Fridays, and 2:00-6:00 p.m. Thursdays). Additional hours are available on some evenings and holidays. If you are looking for a part-time position or service hours, this is a perfect opportunity!
