Director of Advancement

In alignment with the school’s strategic objectives, Community School is proud to announce a leadership opportunity for a talented and innovative Director of Advancement. This role will offer the right individual with strong relationship building skills and marketing savvy the opportunity to provide a strategic vision, collaborative team leadership, and general oversight for Community School’s fundraising strategy and donor stewardship. This key leadership role will be charged with creating a premier development function, responsible for transforming and driving the school’s annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and capital campaign programs.

Substitute Teachers

Community School is a highly regarded independent school in Ladue known for its innovative and enriched curriculum. Community School provides a full day educational program for children age 3 through Grade 6. Co-teachers share in planning and delivering curriculum content in each grade level classroom. Creativity, flexibility, and a love for working with children are desired qualities. A college degree in education or a related field is required.

After School Assistants

Community School is seeking individuals to supervise children (nursery through sixth grade) during an after-school program.
Qualities desired include creativity, flexibility, resourcefulness, enthusiasm for hands-on activities, and the ability to relate to young children and their parents.

The hours are from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Thursday, the hours are 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additional hours available during holiday breaks and other days when school is not in session but extended care is offered.
The term of employment is for the 2017-2018 school year. Employment will begin mid-August 2017.
