Enrollment and Culture Associate

Community School seeks a full-time Enrollment and Culture Associate to join our staff beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. This detail-oriented, relationship-forward professional will support the Director of Enrollment and Culture across admissions operations, community events, and culture programming, helping to create a warm, seamless experience for families from first inquiry through enrollment and beyond. Key responsibilities include managing applicant communications and data in Blackbaud, coordinating tours, interviews, and assessments, supporting new family onboarding and re-enrollment, working with the Director of Marketing & Communications to update admissions materials, and planning admission and culture events. The associate will also contribute to the school’s welcoming, inclusive culture through active participation in school life.

A bachelor’s degree is required; two or more years of administrative, operations, or school experience preferred.

Lower Division Music Specialist

Community School seeks a dynamic and nurturing music educator to teach students in Nursery through Second Grade, fostering a lifelong connection with music through joyful, developmentally appropriate experiences. The Lower Division Music Specialist will design and deliver engaging lessons that introduce core musical concepts through vocal work, instrumental exploration, and movement-based activities. Students will develop foundational skills in rhythm, pitch, notation, and musicianship while also cultivating an appreciation for music as both a personal and communal experience. 

A bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field is required; a master’s degree and a teaching certificate or credential are preferred. A minimum of three years of teaching experience is also preferred.

Substitute Teachers

Community School is looking for substitute teachers who enjoy working with early childhood or elementary-aged students. A Bachelor's degree or three years of teaching experience is required. Responsibilities begin at 7:45 a.m. and last through dismissal at approximately 3:30 p.m. Substitute teachers typically team with regular classroom teachers and are expected to foster a positive learning environment.

After School Assistants

Community School is hiring After School Assistants to supervise children (Nursery through Grade 6) during our Extended Day program on weekday afternoons (3:00-6:00 p.m. Mondays-Wednesdays and Fridays, and 2:00-6:00 p.m. Thursdays). Additional hours are available on some evenings and holidays. If you are looking for a part-time position or service hours, this is a perfect opportunity!
