Description |
Sharon Barnholtz is the Nursery Co-Lead. Sharon has a master of arts from Maryville University in early childhood and elementary education and a Ph.D. from St. Louis University. In addition, she received a degree in child development from St. Louis Community College and graduated from a two-year program in Child Development from the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. During the summer, Sharon directs Burr-Oak Preschool and Kindergarten Camp, which is held at Community School. She is the 2007 winner of the ISSL Teacher of Distinction award and the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award. Sharon’s interests include family activities, tennis, reading, exercising, and collecting hatpins. |
