Physical education activities center around building strength, flexibility, and endurance, and promoting healthy lives that translate into a lifetime of physical activity.
Younger children play in a less structured environment and focus on developing gross motor coordination, endurance, strength, and fitness. Upper grades learn specific skills to use in game situations where strategies, teamwork, and sportsmanship are emphasized.
Jungle Escape, “capture,” and the gymnastics/ wrestling assembly are a few of students’ favorite P.E. activities.
